Built for the part CAD isn't built for

Your CAD is great at CAD. Not at point clouds.

Surveying and engineering teams that already own a CAD seat still buy a second tool for digitization — because tracing a thinned, laggy cloud through clunky section planes wastes the accuracy they paid for in the field.

Direct import

Load the real cloud — no conversion detour

LAS, LAZ, E57, PLY and XYZ open directly — including LAS files beyond 2 GiB via chunked import. No proprietary re-export, no extra converter subscription, no detail-eating level-of-detail throttle between you and your data.

Free drawing

Draw where the cloud has gaps

Every photogrammetry tool we know only draws on existing points — or on drawing planes you first have to set up. Here you keep drawing straight through noise and holes, and move every vertex controlled along axes or planes. That bridges the weaknesses of any point cloud with centimeter control — fast, without detours.

In-house QC

Keep digitization in-house

Outsourced linework comes back with deviations you spend days finding. With an efficient tool, the person who scanned the site draws the deliverable — same care, competitive price, no revision ping-pong across time zones.

Local data

Your data never leaves your machine

Everything is parsed, rendered and analyzed locally in the browser — no upload, no account, no cloud. Confidential sites, infrastructure and client data stay exactly where they are.

Workflow

From raw scan to signed-off deliverable.

One model carries your cloud, your linework, your terrain and your exports — no round-trips between viewer, converter and CAD.

01Import

Load clouds, plans and photos

Drag in your scan and keep the coordinates you surveyed — large coordinates are handled safely, CRS transformations included.

  • LAS / LAZ (>2 GiB chunked), E57, PLY, XYZ
  • DXF & GeoJSON reference drawings
  • GeoTIFF orthophotos & terrain rasters
  • Drone camera poses (Metashape, COLMAP) & phone photos
02Digitize

Trace with CAD discipline

Draw directly on the cloud with the snapping and constraints you expect from a drafting tool — organized in layers with DXF colors and lineweights.

  • Point, endpoint & edge-midpoint snapping
  • Right-angle mode, arcs, circles, offset & double lines
  • Centerlines, densify, vertex elevation labels
  • Layer manager with per-layer style & DXF lineweight
03Analyze

Measure what the site really does

Quantities come from the cloud itself — with a plane or terrain-following TIN reference for honest volumes.

  • Distance, area, 3D surface area, slope
  • Volumes against plane or TIN reference
  • Contour lines at any interval
  • Outlier cleaning (SOR / radius), clipping, class filters
04Terrain

Build the ground model

Classify ground, build a DTM raster, drape orthophotos or web maps over it — and reuse it as reference surface for your measurements.

  • Ground classification (cloth simulation)
  • DTM raster with elevation color ramp
  • Drape orthophotos, OSM & cadastre WMS
  • DTM import/export as GeoTIFF
05Deliver

Hand off to CAD & GIS

The deliverable opens where your client works — tested against picky AutoCAD-OEM-based packages, not just tolerant readers.

  • DXF (AC1015 / AC1032) with layers, true color, lineweights
  • GeoJSON, LAS export with thinning & boundary crop
  • GeoTIFF: top-view orthophoto & DTM
  • A3 PDF plan sheets, project state save/restore
Only here

Four things you won't find anywhere else.

Not marketing claims — workflow gaps we kept hitting in other tools, closed in this one. Many browser viewers still ride on decade-old viewer frameworks with rudimentary measuring; this engine is purpose-built for the surveying workflow.

True ortho

See 3D, draw in true ortho

The scene in 3D, the drawing in a true plumb top view — at the same time. Even low-resolution clouds turn into clean plans this way.

Snapping

Snapping that actually lands

Point, endpoint and edge-midpoint snap, forced right angles, full point-cloud snap while editing — with feedback right at the cursor. Precision without zooming in.

Area math

Subtract one area from another

Area minus area returns real result shapes — deduction areas, partial areas, remainders ready for billing. We know of no other point cloud tool that can do this.

Two slots

Compare, align and merge clouds

Load two clouds side by side, reference-align and tilt, bake & merge — with class filters and outlier cleaning (SOR / radius) right on the slot.

Data sovereignty

No upload. No account. No trace.

Pointcloud Manager is a local application that happens to run in a browser tab. Point clouds are decoded in worker threads on your CPU, rendered on your GPU — and that's the whole data path. Nothing to install for IT, nothing to clear with data protection.

Deliverables

Exports built for the software your clients actually use.

A deliverable only counts when it opens cleanly on the other side. The DXF writer produces the full table structure that strict AutoCAD-OEM packages demand — layers, true colors, lineweights, text styles.

Your clients measure for themselves — in your portal.

As a licensee you can offer the tool behind the client login of your own website: your clients don't just view the point cloud — they measure in it. Distances, areas, elevations. No photogrammetry package offers that, and a third-party viewer is a tool you would first have to learn and then teach your clients. Here you deliver in the same tool you work in.

FAQ

Common questions.

Which file formats can I load?
Point clouds: LAS, LAZ, E57, PLY, XYZ — LAS beyond 2 GiB loads through chunked import. Alongside the cloud you can load DXF and GeoJSON reference drawings, GeoTIFF orthophotos and terrain rasters, and georeferenced drone or phone photos.
Do I have to convert my cloud to a proprietary format first?
No. Your scan opens directly in its native format. There is no converter step, no second subscription for a processing tool, and no level-of-detail thinning between you and the points you captured.
Where is my data processed?
Exclusively on your machine. The application runs in your browser; point clouds are decoded and rendered locally and are never uploaded. That makes it usable for confidential sites and clients with strict data agreements.
Will the DXF open cleanly in AutoCAD?
Yes — you can choose AC1015 or AC1032. The writer produces the complete DXF scaffolding (all symbol tables, block records, object dictionary) that strict AutoCAD-OEM-based packages require, with layers, ACI and true colors, lineweights and text styles.
Which coordinate systems are supported?
Projected CRS such as EPSG:25832, 25833 and 31468 as project systems, EPSG:3857 and geographic CRS (4326 / 4258) for file exchange, with true raster reprojection on import and export. Additional CRS can be added on request.
Can I offer the tool to my own clients?
Yes — with the portal option you host the tool behind the client login of your own website. Your clients open their project in the browser and can view and measure it themselves, in the same tool you deliver with. No installation and no separate viewer training on their side.
What does it cost?
Licensing is per office, not per seat, and quoted after the demo — so the price matches what your team actually needs. There is no obligation attached to the demo.
